CPR & AED Training

This CPR/AED course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. This course can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Students receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years.

First Aid Training

This First Aid instructor-led course teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrives. Students learn duties and responsibilities of first aid rescuers; first aid actions for medical emergencies, including severe choking, heart attack, and stroke; and skills for handling injury and environmental emergencies, including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, and bites and stings.

Certification Training Courses

AED / CPR Class

This healthcare training program is for beginners with no previous medical training and students who have previously received AHA, ASHI, or ARC CPR and AED certification. The course covers adult, child and infant CPR, foreign-body airway obstruction and use of AEDs.

First Aid Class

This healthcare training program is for beginners and students who have previously received first aid certification. The course teaches students how to respond and care for adults, children and infants in medical emergency settings and covers all the basics of first aid by AHA or ASHI

Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP)

Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP)This course is an explanation of what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced. The medical training is for beginners and previously certified students and includes HIV training.

CPR For Health Care Providers / Basic Life Support (BLS)

This healthcare training program is designed specifically for medical professionals. The course covers adult, child and infant CPR, foreign-body airway obstruction and use of AEDs and includes two rescue scenarios with the use of the bag valve mask.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

ACLS (New Certification), is an advanced instructor-led course that highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

PALS (New Certification), is a classroom instructor-led course that uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics.

Airway Management

Airway Management is a unique program designed to give students the chance to learn, practice and demonstrate their ability in applying many airway skills used in resuscitation. Students increase their awareness of various airway products and skills required. The course is designed into units, and some are optional, so facilitators can present the units that meet the students’ needs.

The course provides training for healthcare providers whose occupation or volunteer activities require airway management skills and professionals in the field of resuscitation and airway

Emergency Oxygen

The Emergency Oxygen administration program is a critical step in treating a severe or life-threatening illness or injury. Serious and life-threatening medical emergencies often cause oxygen to be depleted in the body leaving the victim at risk for cardiac arrest or brain damage. This program focuses on administering emergency oxygen, rescue breathing and oxygen delivery devices.

Students attending this class need to bring their own Oxygen tank

Portable Fire Extinguishers

Extinguisher basics and use; P.A.S.S.; maintenance & testing This course is designed to train individuals in the use of portable fire extinguishers in the workplace. These easy-to-use devices could make the difference between a small emergency and a major catastrophe. The course reviews how to determine when or if an extinguisher is appropriate and explains the Fire Triangle, P.A.S.S. Technique, fire classifications and types of extinguishers. Meets OSHA Requirements.
